Strengthening Relationships

Mentoring is an excellent support for children facing abuse and neglect beyond the week of camp. Children meet with their mentor once a month where they connect and play to build a meaningful supportive relationship. Kids are coached as faith-based core values are taught. Kids develop a greater sense of self-worth through affirmation, encouragement and opportunities for every child to succeed.

Make an Impact

Mentoring Matters! According to National Mentoring Resource Center, children facing abuse and neglect who meet regularly with their mentor are:
52% less likely than their peers to skip a day of school and 37% less likely to skip a class.
46% less likely than their peers to start using illegal drugs and 27% less likely to start drinking.
Over 75% aspire to enroll in and graduate from college versus half of children facing abuse and neglect who had no mentor.
